Hello Blogging World!

It has been a LONG time since I have been on blogger, and actually blogged anyway. I have been on here reading several different blogs, and I thought it was time I posted another blog. This time I am going to try and keep up with it! (Even though I have no idea how many people actually read my blog....)

So much has happened since the last time I posted, but the biggest thing that has happened is we found out some very exciting, life changing news! We are expecting a little bundle of joy before 2010 is over!!!! The due date is December 31st! We are so excited! It's hard to believe that this time next year we will have our first baby! We told our parents, and that was the best! We had our parents up for an early Mother's Day celebration. Brian was leaving on Mother's Day to go to Terre Haute, Indiana, for a temporary duty. He was gone for a week, and we wanted to tell our parents before he left. So, the week before Mother's Day our parents came to our house, and we had lunch. After lunch we pulled out the Mother's Day gifts for our moms. We got them pocket calendars to write some important dates on (but we didn't tell them what for when they opened them) and picture frames. The picture frames had a saying about a grandchild on them, and forgive me but I can't for the life of me remember the actual saying. They were surprised, and VERY excited!

On May 13, 2010, I had my first ultrasound, and our moms went with me. Unfortunately, Brian was in Terre Haute at the time, so he had to miss it. The other unfortunate thing about it was that only one of our moms was able to go into the room with me. :( I was really hoping they would let both moms come with me, but they didn't. I got to see the baby, and hear it's little heart beating away! It was amazing! The heartbeat was 133! The lady said that was very good for as far along as I was.

I still find it hard to believe that I am pregnant. I haven't had much morning sickness...knock on wood. :) I have had 2 times where I have actually thrown up, and I am thankful for that. As of today I am 9 weeks 2 days...and I hope to not have many times of loosing my breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I have been extremely tired, but I expected that. I have also come down with a little cold, but my doctor's office told me to get some over the counter medicine and call them back if my cough isn't gone within a few days. So far it's helping, and I hope it continues to help! Well that's all I have for now. I will continue to blog with updates!
